Mini-Ubers

Woot - I was having a night of little lag, so I used three of the key sets I collected to get organs. I mostly just wanted to see if I could kill the mini ubers (using legitimate gear =P).

Oddly enough, Izual kicked my ass. He could kill me in two hits and did so quite often. I was getting my ass kicked by him so badly that I made him follow me to the red portal just so I could easily hop back in to get my body. I'm not sure what exactly was killing me. I could tank him for a few seconds, then without warning I'd fall over dead. Maybe it was lack of resists. Maybe it was Iron Maiden. I dunno, but he eventually died.

Lillith and Uber Dureal (sp?) were amazingly easy. Both of them died in a few seconds and barely hurt me.

It was kind of strange - I looked around for information on them before I took them on and most people said that Izual was the easy one and the others were hard. They suggested that you drink a few antidote potions before you fought lillith, but my health didnt even start to go down until after she had died.

I'd love to get a torch, but I think the ubers would kick my ass from here to next month if I tried right now. I guess I'll just let their organs take up space in my inventory for right now.

Any suggestions on beating them up?

(also by the way the reason you fell over dead in izuals place is because you got IMed by one of the death knights in there.) izuals a piece of cake once you get those stupid fuckers out of the way. A smiters dmg is mostly physical so Iron Maiden is deathly to them.

your equipment should be:

draculas grasp gloves
hoz shield
2 raven frost rings
coa helm
gorerider boots
and a um that one runeworded phase blade

on switch 6 bo cta and spirit

I recommend an anni and a torch on him :3


when you go into uber tristram move somewhat towards the middle until either meph diablo or baal runs out. Then just own them all one at a time doing the same processs over again. The mini ubers are a lot easier then uber mephisto because he has that spell that brings your resistances down and could possibly own any normal person. Make sure you have fairly high res. ^_^


(by the way if you see me online on my account well it's not me it's a friend just keeping it alive and such I've had yet to play d2 in awhile but I still know more then most of those noobs on it.)

I'm slightly less worried about the ubers. Uber Diablo spawned in a game I was playing a few minutes ago - that was loads of fun.

I've never actually seen him before - that was great. I was quite certain that he'd be handing me my ass, but I smote him to death without having to drink a potion or let up on the mouse button. I'm now the proud owner of a 10% Exp Anni =)

I just want you to know Shellsy, that with all that game talk you did...I've ever been more turned on in my life /rawr

It's 12 to attributes / 17 to resists / 10% to exp.

Not perfect in the other areas, esp. the attributes, but the resists arent bad and the exp is perfect.

Diablo was actually quite easy. It took longer to kill the misc enemys around him than it did to kill him. Uber Izual gave me more of a problem.

Actually, people are selling SoJ's on the server I'm in right now. They've sold probably 30 or so thus far. Would be kind of neat to get two in the same day after having never seen the D clone before.


Update:: Just killed him again. This one is 18 attributes / 19 resists / 10 Exp. Woot! =)
