G Elements in Xenosaga 3?

I was watching an Ep. 3 trailer and saw something familiar:

I'm sure there's not more of a connection than the fact that they look alike (much like the Proto Dora in Ep1), but it's still pretty nifty.

It isnt Welltall...specifically.. It has a different name. Thats a modified state of the same E.S. That form, is called Omega Id. The other one.. is uhh Omega Universitas I think...and it.....kicks.... ASSSSSSSS. Well, It'll kick your ass... Far as I know, you cant use it. Just fight it.

Also, the transformer looking guy is an Erde Kaiser...from the Dark Proffesor and the Proffesor...since they love to build shit n stuff. This guy...is the ultimate form of whoopass. Its ridiculous.

Omega Universitas was pretty weak compared to what I was expecting. I havent had a chance to fight Omega Id yet. I'm still on the first disc.

Omega Id.... is..like... What the Dark Erde Kaiser Sigma was....tripled, and lasts longer than a freaking turle inside an armored double reinforced safe, in a tank, burried under 5 tons of concrete....

Finally got around to getting the game, and put 14 hours in already on the first day.
Episode 2 left a very very bad taste in my mouth, I was very fucking worried about episode 3.
Well my worries where for naught, cause I fucking love it! Love the battles, love the story, love the database, love the music, love the characters, love the pace, love the cutscenes (damn good lighting too), love the environments, love the character designs, love the font, love the walking around, hell I can even live with the voice acting. Episode 2 had problems in ALL of those catagories, and now they made an effort to fix them.

Way up. I actually preffer fighting in the E.S.s than normal battles. Which were crappy battle systems in the frist two. They have made so many improvements. And get ready for the plot twists, Duran. Its most awesome. Im 30 hours into it. Think Im getting pretty close to finishing it.

Just finished the game, and damn was that ever a great game, it just beat the crap out of Dragon Quest 8 as my favorite ps2 game. The ending gave the same unrivaled satisfaction as xenogears did, and that is saying alot. This is a definite one of those gaming experiences I'll never forget, I'm not even sad its all over. Great fucking game.

Oh yes and Omega Id kicked my fucking ass and never bothered taking names, I dedicated all of yesterday trying to take him down even with all the best upgrades available, that was a battle to remember.

Time spent: 50 hours.

Now to go through episode 1,2,3 and xenogears all over again now.

Lol, me too xD. I actually somehow managed to delete my memory card with all the Xenosaga files on it..so I guess Ill have to anyways. Dont you think they kind of left it open for something else though? It was kind of an open/close ending. I dunno, thats what it seemed like to me.

I tried fighting Omega Id last night, but the battle took so long that I had to give up and go to bed. Having the disks that add to your charge recover helps a lot since you can heal for around 35,000 per charge.

Omega Id's ability to heal from your anima level took me off guard. I wasnt expecting that and had three level 3's saved up. That turned out to be a very bad idea.

Indeed. The damn thing is evil on all accounts. Its Anima Combo takes away most of your HP guage, and will kill anyone with less than a quarter on HP. It was a pain.

Ah.. what a wuss. Margilus' E.S. was a much harder fight.

On a side note - Erde Kaiser Sigma is realllly nice. You can kill anything - including the end boss - with one hit.

Yea E.K Sigma is like... Hax. It's fawking sweet though, I like its little attack sequence.

The trick to fighting the later E.S fights, is when they awaken thier anima, the very next turn is thier special 'fuck you fuckball' rape cocktail. So when they awaken thier anima: Immediatly charge up, this recovers hp, and puts you in guard so it doesn't do much damage at all. Sadly I only realized it during the fight with margulis on abraxas.

It also helps to have the 1/2 guard damage disks equipped along with the disk that increases your HP recovery during charge. With that on, you can survive just about anything if you're charging.

Lol, its the most accurate way to describe their Anima Awakening attacks. Very very nicely worded there, Duran. Lol. But yea, thats pretty much the way to do it to save yourself the rape cocktail.
